Please note that this is not meant to be the be-all and end-all of top
100 lists; i.e., you might not find [insert your favorite classic film
here].
Rather, you will find an abundance of American movies from
1992 to present (the years that I've frequented movie theaters), lots of
genre flicks (I grew up on a steady diet of Indiana Jones, Star
Wars, and The Terminator), odds and ends from cinematic history
(more of which will likely be added as I catch up on films that I've missed),
and perhaps even a TV series or two.
Basically, as Captain Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) from Spaceballs
might put it, these are the movies that -- for whatever reason -- "do
it for me" the most.
(By the way, Spaceballs is not on the list.)
